When we hear of children be abducted, and shootings at schools, or bombs being set off at races, do you ask yourself, why?
When I was a child we never had a fear of being snatched right from under our mother’s sight. My brothers and all the boys in the neighborhood had guns, and had a contest of who could shoot the most tin cans. But the guns were never turned on one another.
It boggles the mind how all this came to being the norm in the morning paper. What has happened? What is different?
Well, for starters, we took God out of our lives and prayer out of our schools.
Reba McEntire is coming out with a new album, “Back to God”. In the lyrics she sings, “We are still worth saving!” and “Give this world back to God!” All I can say is AMEN! I am so happy people are waking up to the fact a country without God, won’t be safe to live in.
Don’t let Hollywood set the standards for this country. Let’s use the Declaration of Independence, Gettysburg Address, and other great works which used the Bible as their guide. It isn’t too late, we still have the original how too manual, the Bible. I think the mind boggling time is over, and Reba is right. Let’s give this world back to God!
As parents we need to teach our children love and respect for this country and remind them is was built on the beliefs found in the Bible. Teach them to be proud to be called a Christian!
We as writers tend to make our heroes the people with good moral fiber. Is this an accident or are we sending a message to the world? I think it is an SOS, so keep sending the word out.
