I Love poetry

The reason my first love is poetry, is because it can reflect you. 

The stages in your life, like joy, sorrow, anger, even righteous indignation.  It can change like the waters of a river, always different. 

     Most songs are poetry put to music.  It helps express emotions that we may struggle with because they are out of our comfort zone.  Like the depths of our love, or a sense of thankfulness and praise. (Like the book of Psalms)

    Poetry is a very personal medium. It is something you own, and it in return, owns you.

    to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed
    the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
    ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off
    topic but I had to tell someone!
