Have you ever gotten a bouquet of flowers out of the blue?

My mother received some very beautiful flowers in the hospital and we were touched by the love. Have you ever received a gift, card or flowers ? What was the occasion, a holiday, birthday, or wishing for a speedy recovery? Have you ever sent a gift or flowers? Think of what it would mean if they were sent ‘ just because.’

Just because the sun was shinning, and it reminded me of you. Or just because I smelled some home cooking, it made me think of you. How about just because you are important to me?
The unscheduled, spontaneous gift, card or flowers have twice the impact. They don’t have to be flamboyant, mushy, or expensive. If they are unexpected the surprise or shock makes a bigger impression or sweeter memory.

As parents need to teach our children that God loves us, no matter what. All the time, even if we are good or bad or undeserving. He even sent us a gift, his only begotten Son. And Jesus, his Son, gave us the gift of eternal life.

We as writers depend on the unexpected to make our writings great. Make your life great also!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
