Do you ever wish you could stop the world so you could get off?

Trust me, I have!  I just spent a week preparing for my mother’s funeral and praying me and my siblings got everything right.  We wanted to honor my mom and let her friends have an opportunity to share that.  My mom would have been happy with anything, but for some unknown reason we feel it is our final act of love.

With our hearts breaking we accomplished the task, and now we wake up the next morning to find the world has gone on just as before.  How is this possible? Doesn’t the world feel the hole her absence has left?

Well, here is the answer. NO.  But the good news is, mom prepared us for this event. Not her death per say, but for her going on to heaven and eternal life.  And she gave each of us an insurance policy to achieve the very same.  The Holy Bible. In its pages we will all find our ticket off this crazy spinning world and into eternal life.  I really didn’t want to go to church today, but my mother was always faithful, and that is what I will teach my children and grandchildren. Thank You Mom.

As parents, who are we leaving the salvation of our children to?  The neighbor who takes your child to church?  A Sunday school teacher?  How about you?

We as writers put our own spin on the things we write.  Let’s keep things under control so we don’t leave our readers spinning off in space.

 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

  14. certainly like your website but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very bothersome to inform the truth then again I will surely come back again.

  49. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
    and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and
    screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off
    topic but I had to tell someone!
