WE the people..not people from another country, but WE the people!

We are celebrating our country’s birthday. It has over two hundred years of having independence.  How did we maintain that great heritage? WE the people.  Governments don’t fight wars, people do.  People just like you and me.  We fight for what we believe in and live for.  ‘In order to form a more perfect union,’ WE came together and voted, fought, and became a country the people of the world flocked to.  Why?  Because here they would be treated fairly, because they came wanting to become Americans.  To live the American dream. Now, WE the people have been replaced with ‘I’ didn’t like the way the people voted, so ‘I’ am going to throw a tantrum, and protest.  Because ‘I’ want things my way.  Change has always been a painful thing to go through. Women go through pain to bring forth a beautiful baby.  It has always been worth the travail, because the end result, no one else can accomplish.  WE the people gave birth to a beautiful nation.  WE have held true to the beliefs it was built on.  If people come to this country now, it should be to become an American.  It is what and who we are!  Don’t come here and try to change us, WE like US just the way we are! One Nation under God!!!!

As parents, we need to teach our children to pray for our president, governors, and all the people who make decisions in this great country.  The Bible tells us to do this for our own good, because it is right.  Let your children see you respect the people in authority.  Right down to the policemen in your own neighborhood. Why, you ask? Because it is the way WE the people set up this country. Taking our example from the Bible and it has worked beautifully for over two hundred years.  WE the people, UNDER GOD, not over him. If you pray for our leaders, and teach your children to do the same, God will guide them to make the right decisions for you and me, and this country.  GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

We as writers need to be responsable and write what is true and right.  We can comment, but we shouldn’t try to change history to fit our needs.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;   For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

I Timothy 2: 1-3
