COLOR GRABBERS!

This is such a great invention!

I am back to laundry duty, since my Son and his family moved back to the farm. I was down to maybe one load a week, since my husband is living in his semi, and does his own laundry. The best thing for him to use are prepackaged washing detergent. No mistakes, easy peasy! I gave him color grabbers to put into each load, but I am not sure he does it. But his clothes have never come home pink or any other color. I am not that trusting, I put one in every load of the kid’s clothes.  It always catches that one thing that is not color fast. What could be a disaster, is diverted by grabbing rogue colors that could have ruined the whole load. This is a great invention! Before you would nearly cry finding a red sock, stuck in a pair of jeans you missed, ruining everything in that load. I love these color grabbers!

Don’t you wish they made other grabbers that would make our lives better?  Like: stop the stupid phrase; or don’t eat the whole cookie jar grabber? Just think of how much better life would be if we had a grabber for everything that was not good for us, or every stupid thing we would say or do! Well, they haven’t invented any of those yet, and the scenario is so vast, they never will.

I have some good news on this subject.  There is a blotter that was made 2000 years ago that blots up all our stupid mistakes. The trick to this blotter, is you have to acknowledge it and accept it, to blot up all your mistakes and sins.  It is called the blood of Jesus Christ. And we thought grabbers were a new invention! It just goes to show you that God has already thought of what we need to make our lives better! Boy! HE is the great intended invention!

As parents it is important for us to teach our children that they are responsible for their actions.  None of us are perfect, and sometimes we need help cleaning up our messes.  We need them to know that we will always be there for them and more importantly, Jesus will always be there to grab them and love them no matter what!

We as writers often use people in our writings to sponge up the problems of others. Mothers and fathers are often enablers when they solve or grab up all their kids messes. We need to help people, through our writings, to be responsible for their mistakes and messes.

 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Romans 14:12

 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:23

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I John 1:8-10
