THE HANDY DANDY ALL IN ONE TOOL!

Got to get one of these!

This is the time of year all the new products come out on the market.  When you are trying to buy a gift for someone who has everything, this is a good thing. I guess those in my family would know I take after my dad in that I am a gadget junkie! I do, I love gadgets! I am amazed that people can come up with all these interesting things. And what could be better than to have everything you need at your fingertips! You wouldn’t have to carry around a whole toolbox if you had one of these handy gadgets.  They make them for gardening, kitchens, autos, fixing fences, camping, and the list goes on. Just think, if you opened a multitasking gadget on Christmas morning, there wouldn’t be anything else that morning that you couldn’t open, put batteries in, cut, sew, and staple.  Well maybe that is a slight exaggeration, but they really do have multi purposes. So what if carrying all these neat tools makes your pants fall down, you will be ready for that too, when you make yourself, (with your handy-dandy all in one tool), a pair of suspenders out of some tree bark. What more could you ask for?

There is another all in one tool I want to tell you about.  It is not a thing but a person; Jesus Christ. He is everything you could ever want or wish for all rolled up into one deity. Master, Servant, Sacrificial Lamb, Father, Saviour of the world and the list is endless. He is the answer to everything you have ever wondered about. And he comes with a user manual, the Bible! What more could you ask for?

As parents we need to teach our children that Jesus is always with them and will listen to every prayer, problem, concern they ever have.  Give them the owner’s manual, and read it together. There is nothing too hard for HIM.

We as authors make the handy man the heroes of many of our stories. It is my fondest wish that you know the greatest handy man in this world and the next! Jesus Christ. I hope you get him for Christmas!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
