The difference between possible and impossible is a person who believes. I often remember a story of a little boy throwing rocks at the moon. He was intent on his mission of hitting a moon, when a man came by and ask what he was doing. “I am trying to hit the moon with a rock,” he replied. “You foolish little boy, you can never hit the moon with a rock!” the man said incredulously. “Well,” the little boy replied, “I am going to come a lot closer than you will!”
I wonder what the little boy was thinking as he was throwing those rocks. How to get the rocks closer, or how to launch a rock, or maybe a rocket? During times of play, away from automated things that do your thinking for you, is when the imagination come to life! The mind is a boundless arena of possibilities. You should never, nor should you let anyone else, snuff the dreams of a person who can image strange and wonderful things. It is through those imaging’s that our inventions and medical breakthroughs have been accomplished. Ralph Waldo Emerson said; “Once you make a decision the universe conspires to make it happen.” It is the world’s way of saying; “all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me.” Unfortunately many people would rather believe Ralph than God. But the truth remains, if you have the faith as small as a mustard seed, anything and I mean anything is possible! Did you know the mustard seed is one of the smallest seeds but grows into a plant that resembles a tree? From tiny ideas marvelous inventions and cures can grow, if they are not squelched by the nay-sayers. Do not deflate, rather, inspire and inflate people’s dreams, and help them conquer their fear to try again if they fail!
As parents we need to teach our children that their gifts of imagination and wonder are from God. It is important to keep God in the forefront of their accomplishments reminding them that their talents have been given to them by God, and to be thankful for them and the accomplishments they have allowed. It will help them grow continually and also keep them grounded.
We as authors have been given the gift of imagination through our writing. It is important to understand all good things come from God, and we needn’t get a big head about anything we accomplish in our careers.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13

Matthew 19:26
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Matthew 17:20
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Matthew 11:24
