PRAISE HIS NAME!

When it seems your all alone.

They say that the age of miracles have come and gone.  With special effects at the movies, the magic of computerized animation, and the ‘Americas Got Talent’ magicians, it is hard to credit God with any miracles at all.  Some miracles are taken for granted. The miracle of birth, for one.  If you have ever had the opportunity to be in the delivery room during a birth, it is amazing! When was the last time you saw a sunrise, sunset, or snowfall, they are beyond words in their awesome beauty.

Today the roads in this area are treacherous at best. Many drivers are driving home white knuckled tonight, and praying under their breath for God to help them get home safely. Once they get home, all thoughts or thanks to God are easily forgotten.  Who do you think gives the talent to the Doctors and researchers to find cures and medicines for the hybrid diseases we have today? My grandson is cancer free now, that is a reason for praise!  Putting a man on the moon instead of burning up in the atmosphere, is a miracle of its own.

Sometime it seems you are all alone in the world and that no one cares about your situation or whether or not you live or die. But, you are not alone, and that in its self is reason to praise the Lord!  The fact you have a roof over your head, food on your table, and people you love, you are blessed and He is worthy to be praised!! Don’t be a glass half empty kind of person, be a praise the Lord my glass is half full kind of person.

Jeff & Sheri Easter wrote a song: Praise His Name that says more eloquently what I am trying to say:

When you’re up against a wall
And your mountain seems so tall
And you realize that life’s not always fair
You can run away and hide
Let the old man decide
Or you can change your circumstances with a prayer

When everything falls apart
Praise His Name
And when you have a broken heart
Just raise your hands and say
Lord, you’re all I need
You’re everything to me
And you’ll take the pain away

When it seems you’re all alone
Praise His Name
When you feel you can’t go on
Just raise your hands and say
Greater is He that is within me
You can praise the hurt away
If you’ll just praise His Name

Ohhh,
You can overcome
By the blood of the lamb
And by the word of your testimony
You’ll see the darkness go
As your faith begins to grow
You’re not alone, so how can you be lonely

Remember, you are never alone, he is just a prayer away.  Now, that is a reason to, Praise His Name!

As parents we need to help our children develop a relationship with God from their early years.  The best way to do this is by example, and including them in bedtime prayers, meal prayers, and prayers for traveling safety.  Give them a firm foundation in a relationship that will never disappoint them in this lifetime or the next.

We as authors stay away from anything political or religious in fear of alienating some of our readers.  To this I say be true to your beliefs, and leave the rest up to God.

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

 John 4:4

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

Psalms 147:3

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalms 34:1-4

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalms 150:6
