What are you?
We all should be so proud of Washington State, for giving its people the option to change their sex on their birth certificate to either male, female, or “X”. Talk about the blind leading the blind, who comes up with this stuff? The sad thing about all this is that God doesn’t make mistakes. Psalms 139:14 states it the best: I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. We are made in the just the right way at the right time, even though we feel we don’t fit into any slot. You can change your hair, have implants, have parts shaved, or added , or removed all together; but you will never change your DNA, and the number of chromosomes you were born with. In essence, you have only changed the covering of who you really are, who God formed you in the womb to be. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. Psalms 139:13
I am not here to judge anyone or pretend to understand what each person is going through on his or her own journey through life. What I am saying is that the insanity has to stop, and there has to be a compromise to the warring against God and his infinite wisdom. On birth certificates perhaps there can be a male/altered, or a female/altered slot, instead of an “X”. You can paint it, pump collagen into it, and a myriad of other things, but in the end: “male and female created he them.” And that you will never change!
As parents it is important to listen to, and try to understand, what our children are going through in life, and help them navigate those waters that threaten to drown them. Listen carefully and without judgement, and with prayer help them find the answers they need to get through troubled times. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
We as authors have been glorifying people who swim upstream against the establishment. We have to be careful not to edify people who are really creating more havoc disguised as reform. The repercussions could go on for quite a while.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
