The closest things you can get is clothes dried in the sun!
There must be a hundred products on the market today that try to mimic the smell of clothes dried in the sun on a clothes line. They call it fresh linen, morning breeze, crisp cotton, and the list goes on and on. But they just can’t bottle a sunbeam! There is nothing that can compare to crawling into a bed freshly made with sheets dried in the sun. It is almost like a whole different world of senses. You can close your eyes and remember times of your childhood, when life was filled with carefree days of play. Running, laughing and enjoying the sun on your face.
The sun has many practical benefits on today’s world. It makes things grow, like plants, trees, and grains, just to name a few. It is a renewable source of power, called solar energy. Solar energy reduces electric bills, is a clean energy, increases property values, and helps you become energy independent from big electrical companies. The sun helps us restore our own internal batteries. It is a known fact that in the months of the least amount of sunshine, suicide rates go up, because depression sets in. We need the sunshine for the vitamin D it provides increasing our good health.
There is another Son who provides these things and a whole lot more. The Son of God, came into this world to provide everything we need to be independent from sin and its high cost. It gives us energy, joy, a life time prescription to the Great physicians care, and life that will go on forever! Talk about a renewable source of power! And it is free, just like the sunshine, all you have to do is ask to be saved. His renewable life sustaining life blood is what powers the transporter to heaven.
As parents we need to teach our children what a wonderful world they have been born into. Thank God daily for the little things we take for granted, like sunshine and rain, falling leaves and snow. Each one is a miracle from God and should never be taken lightly. The freedom to worship the one and only Trinity, (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) is also a blessing, and a daily dose of all three will improve anyone’s health.
We as authors can insert simple miracles, of the seasons, into many of our writings. But we need to give the credit, where the credit is due. We cannot capture a sunbeam, so God gives us the sun every day so we don’t have too. Amazing!
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
