I CAN DO ANYTHING

Don’t tell me I can’t do something!

Some of you know my first love in writing was in poetry. I often used it to express how I feel about things, like the frustrations of having someone tell you, you’re not good enough, or that you can’t do something. Here is how I feel.

I CAN DO ANYTHING

Don’t tell me I can’t do it,

Don’t tell me I won’t make the grade.

Don’t tell me to give up,

Don’t tell me to sit in your shade.

Tell me to try and try again,

Tell me to work for what is right.

Tell me to set my goals high,

Tell me the reward is in the fight.

Help me to see beyond the present,

Help me to learn from the past.

Help me hold others sacred,

Help me forge friendships that will last.

Show me the light inside you,

Show me how to light my own.

Show me how to be faithful,

Show me the value of love and home.

All things are possible through Christ,

All I ever hoped and dreamed.

All I am I owe to Him,

All is part of  God’s great scheme.

I believe with all my heart that God has a plan for me and every one of you.

Every mother, father, sister, brother, child and writer. If you truly believe all things

are possible through Christ, there is no stopping us!

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:3

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

II Timothy 1:7

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

I John 4:4

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth.

Mark 9:23

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19
